Sicily was not the plan. Although Troy had been thinking about a trip to Sicily since the 90’s, Sicily actually filled a gap that was left when South Africa had to be moved from 2012 to 2013. With one week at our disposal we contemplated many trips, settling on a combination of Italy and Sicily and then finally, dedicated the entire week to Sicily. Here is our adventure.
