Reunion, Florida

In March of 2021, I received permission to work remotely and proceeded to purchase a lot in Reunion, Florida to be near my parents when they are here in the winter months.

Architected and designed by Zero Latitude and built by Hannigan Homes I moved into my beautiful house on February 14, 2023. On February 20, 2023 I was almost taken out during a conference call by my first golf ball. Thank goodness for double pane windows! While this was my second broken window, the first occurring during building, I quickly realized that golf course living is not for me. So after almost two years of building and living in the house for about 2 weeks, I put my beautiful house on the market. Hoping it would sell quickly, people just were not interested in a house with two broken windows, but once they were fixed, my first accepted offer in April! Three weeks later I get the call that the buyers found a house they liked better and were backing out. 😩 So much for moving quickly. Back on the market we went. Unfortunately no one is buying houses in Florida during the summer. But then in July when I was out of town a new buyer came to take a look at the house and fell in love with it. Three days later an accepted cash offer! They say things are meant for a reason and I really believe that in this case. I had a few more months to spend time and enjoy my house (during the summer there isn’t as many golfers in Florida and the ones that are out are much better 😊). I also believe the new owner will love it as much as I had hoped to.
