Due to us getting back late last night, our touring didn’t start until 10 am. Took the time to walk round the hotel before we headed out for some hiking in a near by town. We walked and took in the scenery. Afterwards, we went to our tour guide’s house and met his wife and young son. Usually his wife joins the tours, but with just having a baby she had stayed behind. We then headed out for lunch. French / Italian food. The food was amazing! Not really a restaurant, but a couple’s house. They only had a few tables, no sign and we were eating in their yard. The wife / chef was from Nice and did all the cooking as her husband served. I had lamb and it just melted in my mouth. We also had wine from Spain, both a white and a red. I was really jonesing for some good wine. Quiet night at the hotel.
