The initial destination and center of activity was Barcelona. We believe it was a fantastic walking city, albeit quite large. Our goal was museums, markets, wine tours, and food. We made everything happen and some. We stumbled upon one of the largest street festivals, La Merce and on that same, first night in town, met some new friends from L.A.
Barcelona is home to, among many things, a fantastic gastronomic movement, La Ramblas and Gaudi’s la Sagrada Familia.
