The city and the boardwalk are great, but take a ride up the canyon on Hwy 154. You pass Lake Cachuma recreation area. Continue on to Los Olivos and the adventure begins. ePiphany and Consilience await, but don’t forget Santa Ynez, Buellton, and Solvang. Must eat at Trattoria Grappolo. The Vineyard House is also very good. For a great drive take Ballard Canyon Road between Los Olivos and Solvang.
