The idea of Spain started out in Queenstown, New Zealand when Mr. Manowski pontificated over eating his way through the Basque country. In late 2009, we laid down some plans on paper with a proposed calendar and a route. The Manowski’s backed out in January, 2010 but the Reed’s jumped on board shortly thereafter. An unfortunate event caused the Reed’s to back out 2 weeks before departure. Here is our story of a couples vacation with only one couple.
